Tifanni is a Licensed community manager of luxury Condominium Associations in Chicago for over 18 years. An experienced Association/Non-Profit, Financial, and Construction manager. As a certified meeting planner, I have organized and conducted professional development programs, meetings, and events for audiences of 50 to over 5,000. The former Director of Training for the Chicago Advocacy Center, I developed educational programs to help foster and develop multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the new center's opening. Served as co-principal investigator on numerous grants, including a grant funded by the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority in partnership with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Service grant to educate teachers on identifying and reporting child sexual abuse for children with disabilities. I currently host a Facebook Group to share scholarship, education, volunteer, and carèer resources (Sterdivant Richardson Scholarship, Education, and Career Page).
Founder of From the Corner to the Office, NFP, a non-profit organization that provided job skills training to rehabilitate gang members while supporting seniors and struggling property owners in the South Shore and South Chicago Communities.
Civic and Volunteer experience includes
· Americorps Service Alumni for the Chicago Health Corp of the University of Illinois at Chicago.
· Deputy Registrar and Precinct Committee person for Crete-6.
· Member of the Crete Democratic Organization
· Member of the Will County Democratic Black Caucus serving on the Youth and Sponsorship committees.
· Member of the DuPage and Will County NAACP Political Action Committee
· Currently volunteer for My Hood, My Block, My City and SocialWorks
· TechGirlz, a technology-based program for girls in STEM.
· Advocate for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence for the YWCA.
· Former member of the HeadStart Parent Advisory Board, Proviso – Bellwood, Presence Health
· Served on the Friends of Ogden, Soiree – Fundraising Committee
· Served on the Mayor's Office for Persons with Disabilities, the Age-Friendly commission for Property Managers working with Persons with Dementia.
· Served as a Board member of the CommUniversity organized by Rev. Dr. J Archie Hargraves. Co-chaired American Appreciation Day effort to address the renewal of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Served on Net.Families.org Initiative to help provide internet service in South Shore homes in partnership with FORUM.
